About the Study
Cahaba Clinical Research is now enrolling participants for the BROADEN2 clinical trial, sponsored by Kymera Therapeutics. This study is testing an investigational oral medication (KT-621) to see how well it works and how safe it is for people with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema).
Eczema can be more than just itchy skin. For many people, it brings on constant flares, painful inflammation, and daily disruptions. If that sounds like you – and if current treatments haven’t worked well – you may be eligible to join this research study.
There’s no cost to participate, and you may receive up to $4,000 for your time, travel, and expenses.
Qualifying For This Study is Easy
You may qualify if you:
- Are between 18 and 75 years old
- Have had atopic dermatitis (eczema) for at least 3 years
- Still experience flares or symptoms despite using other treatments
- Are willing to apply moisturizer twice daily during the study

What to Expect
If you qualify and decide to join, your participation will last about 1.5 years and include around 24 study visits at our clinic.
The study includes the following phases:
- Screening (up to 5 weeks) – To see if the study is a good fit for you
- Double-blind treatment period (16 weeks) – You’ll be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational medication or a placebo
- Open-label treatment period (52 weeks) – If eligible, you’ll receive the investigational medication
- Follow-up visit – One final check-in with your study doctor
Throughout the study, you’ll have regular health checks including blood and urine samples, physical exams, and questionnaires to track your health and symptoms.
