Do You Qualify for Participation?

You may be eligible to participate if you:
  • Are 18–65 years old
  • Have been experiencing symptoms of moderate-to-severe eczema for at least one year
  • At screening and baseline, more than 10 percent of your skin is affected.
  • Are available for up to 17 visits over 52 weeks

About Eczema

Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a non-contagious inflammatory skin condition often characterized by:
  • Red skin
  • Itching
  • Dryness
  • Cracked skin

Eczema commonly affects the face, the inside of the elbows, or behind the knees, but it can appear anywhere on the body and range from mild to severe.

Scratching may cause skin tears, bleeding, blisters, pain, and changes in the skin’s natural color. Eczema symptoms can also interfere with sleep, daily activities, mental health, and overall quality of life. Eczema affects people of all ages. The exact cause of eczema is unknown, but it often develops due to a combination of genes and immune system dysfunction, triggered by factors such as allergens. Symptoms of eczema can affect a person’s daily activities, mental health, interfere with sleep, and impact their overall quality of life. Currently, there is no cure for eczema.
